The project: A series of shorts for the Cancer Council of South Australia's Ride For A Reason.

The story: Every year, thousands of Australians take part in Ride For A Reason – a gruelling 100km bike race that takes on the hardest stage of the Tour Down Under. It's one of Cancer Council South Australia's largest fundraisers.

I wanted to shine a light on some of the amazing people involved, hear their stories and discover the real reason they ride. This online campaign was launched on Facebook and through Cancer Council SA’s email database, targeting participants and donors.

This was the first project I ever led from start to finish – working with a videographer and Cancer Council's in-house graphic designer.

 

This campaign resulted in the highest participation on record and exceeded the fundraising target (by a grand total of $130).
