Golf's OG: Raw, wild and real

The story: We worked with The Open to honour the 151st anniversary with a new design system, brand narrative (Raw, Wild, and Real), tournament positioning (Nature’s Timeless Test), and a unifying tagline (Forged by Nature), and got shortlisted in the prestigious Clio Sports Awards branding category.

With The Open being an embodiment of golf in its purest form – played on natural courses, designed by Mother Nature – we built the communications platform around golf’s timeless test of skill and character, versus the unyielding forces of nature.
